It’s About Time specializes in servicing quartz and automatic watches. Our Swiss trained technician has over 37 years of experience in horology. As a second generation watch technician who was trained in Switzerland and worked with Rolex, Omega, RADO, Mayors Jewelers and Tourneau, his experience is immeasurable.

This is our speciality and we have a team who are constantly in search of the right parts for vintage watches. We have serviced watches from as far back as from the 1940’s and the restoration has been impeccable. Our ultrasonic cleaning and watch buffing process is in a class of its own. The buffing wheel is selected depending on the material of the watch and according to the finish of the case and band. Parts of the band and case are carefully wrapped in polishing tape individually, as each wheel does its job for the right finish. We restore watches to its original standard in this detailed, intricate process requiring a master hand.

It’s About Time carries a range of original watch bands for customers. If you did not want the original or if its not in production any more, we also have an array of genuine leather, rubber, silicon and stainless steel watch bands. We also custom cut bands where possible and can get bands special ordered to your specification.

Watch battery replacement is available for all brands of watches. From fashion watch brands, Eco-Drive, Perpetual Calendar watches and others in our mid priced range to Cartier, Baume Mercier, Hublot quartz, Movado, Tag Heuer and many more brands that need the right tools, a steady hand and a trained eye. Pressure tests and seals are done on watches that require this function to ensure water tightness. About 90% of the watch batteries are done over the counter while you wait.
